Well done to the Senior Boys Gaelic Football team who played valiantly in tight competitive matches at the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic Football Blitz this year.
The team won two of their four matches with Kilconnell, Aughrim, Woodford/Derryoober and Peterswell.
Best of luck to Peterswell in the County Final on the 14th June. 👏

Thanks to Damien Coleman, Connacht Games Development Manager, Liam Gordon, Galway Coaching and Games, Leo Smith TY Coordinator and the TY’s in Portumna Community School for organising a super hurling tournament at the school today.
Our eager hurlers from 3rd to 6th class enjoyed a fun and sporting blitz with other schools from across the county. Special thanks to Ms. Egan, Mrs. Murray, Ms. Nevin and Ms. Yi.

Thanks to Peter Mulryan who has been coaching us in handball this term. We have really brushed up on our hurling and football skills and especially hand-eye coordination as a result of his work with us!

Today Galway Hurling Captain David Burke visited Clontuskert.
We were delighted to welcome David to the school. David spoke to the Junior Room during their training session with Damien Curley. The students asked lots of interesting questions.
Afterwards David trained the students from the Senior Room and signed jerseys and mementos for everyone!
