About our Project
This Project blog is centred around five schools from all across Europe. In Comenius, schools from across Europe come together, to work on a project to learn about each other’s countries and cultures. The schools originally met at a Comenius Contact Seminar in Durham, England in 2008 and completed a project called STAGE: Seven Towards a Greener Europe between 2010 and 2012.
The Partner schools include two schools in England, a school in France, Ireland and Spain.
We also have two silent partner schools in Estonia and Sweden.
Our project name is SHAPE – which stands for S trong H ealthy hAppy P eoplE

Pauvre Victor ! What’s happening to him today ? Where is he hurt ?
Try and make a few sentences yourself using “J’ai mal à + bodypart”.
Need some help ? Le corps humain is still here (along with the games !) to help you with the vocabulary. You can also have a look at this page for a few examples (careful though ! They’re saying where the man is hurt, not where “I” am hurt !). Also, here is a little poem (“Chez le Médecin”), and you have to find out who is hurt where.
Want to practice a bit more on “à la”, “à l'”, “au” and “aux” ? The dustbin game might help : click “start”, then “proceed” once you’ve re-read through the statements, and then place the sentences in the correct dustbin.
Finally, you might need to copy and paste these as your keyboard does not have the French “accents” : à é è
