#NoMorePlastic Project Week 1

The #NoMorePlastic project involves more than 401 schools globally across 68 countries, covering six continents. During 3 weeks students in Clontuskert have focused on the problem, solutions and how to take action.
We have had the opportunity to explore, brainstorm, discuss, create, connect, reflect and share our findings via weekly videos and pictures which will be shared at the website. www.no.moreplastic.info
As part of the project we have focused on single use plastic, microplastics and the plastic soup.

This week for Week 1, we are looking at the problems caused by plastic, globally.

Christmas Holidays

Today was a very special day in Clontuskert. In the morning we exchanged Kris Kringle presents and shared special messages with our friends before Christmas.

We had our Christmas concerts in the school hall at 11.00am. It was wonderful to see so many past pupils, parents, grandparents and friends of the school in Clontuskert. It was standing room only in the hall as you can see from the photos.

Thanks to Bríd Lyons who filmed the event. See some photos from our dress rehearsal here:

Beannachtaí na Nollaig oraibh go léir agus feicfimid sibh go léir nuair a osclaíonn an Scoil arís ar an Luan, an 8ú lá de mí Eanair 2018.

All are welcome.
