🎓🏫SCHOOL CLOSURE & REOPENING: 🎓🏫

School closes today, Wednesday 24th June, with a staggered collection between 12.00p.m. and 12.30 p.m.
We wish all our pupils, families, and staff a safe, happy, and restful summer break.

School reopens on Thursday 27th August 2026 at 9.00 a.m.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year in Clontuskert. 🌟💚💛

Clontuskert Parents’ Association Table Quiz 2023

Clontuskert Parent’s Association held a fundraising Table Quiz in Ballinasloe Rugby Club on Friday 3rd February 2023.

Thanks to our amazing Parents Association Committee for organising; Chairperson Laura Coleman, Secretary Darina Cooke and Treasurer Ada Cooke.

Thanks to all of Clontuskert’s Parents who rallied support and teams, organised seating, tables, refreshments, spot prizes and ensured the night ran so smoothly.

A special word of thanks to Quizmaster extraordinaire, Michael Fahy, who ensured that a night of quiz fun was had by all.

Finally thanks to our community from near and far, who supported the night in their droves and to Ballinasloe Rugby Club for hosting.

First Holy Communion 2022

Congratulations to our eight First Holy Communion candidates who made their Communion today in St. Augustine’s Parish Church.

They were wonderfully prepared for the ceremony this year by their teacher Mr. Gohery.

Thanks to Ms. Scott for the beautiful music today and preparing the flowers and ribbons in the church. Thanks to all the families and children who participated in the beautiful choir. 🎼 🎶

Thanks to Ms. Kenny for her help with the art work in the church and Ms. Dolan and Mary for their support.

Thanks to Fr. Finneran for a lovely ceremony and Frances Turley and Packie Callaghan for preparing the church along with the Parish Council.

We hope all of the families have a wonderful day of celebration.

Congratulations to Clontuskert Parents Association for organising a very successful Tractor Run in aid of Clontuskert NS and East Galway-Midlands Cancer Support on Sunday 1st May 2022.

Confirmation 2021

Congratulations to our fourteen wonderful students, past and present who made their Confirmation in St. Augustine’s Parish Church in Clontuskert today. You represented yourselves and your families so well. We are so proud of you all.

Thank you to Bishop Michael Duignan and Fr. Finneran for the very special ceremony. We appreciate all of your hard work and commitment to the parish.

Thanks to all of the Clontuskert staff who helped the students prepare for the Confirmation, especially Mary. Ms. Nevin and Ms. Boyan for their help with the artwork in the church and Ms. Scott and Ms. Cormican for their help on the day.

Thanks to John Salmons for the beautiful flags and bunting outside the church and Packie Callaghan and Frances Turley for their work in the sacristy.

Choir Mistress Bernie Dunne and organist Catherine Burke led the music with heavenly singing from soloists; Nadine Whyte, Mariam Melaadi and Clare Callaghan.

Congratulations First Holy Communion Class

Congratulations to 3rd Class who made their First Holy Communion in St. Augustine’s Parish Church Clontuskert today.

Thanks to Fr. Finneran, Ms. Scott, Mr. Gohery, Ms. Dolan, Ms. Egan for preparing the students so well. The church was beautifully prepared by Mary Callaghan, Alina Grupe, Phil Lally and Mary Molloy for today’s celebration. Thank you to Richard Moore who played beautiful music on the organ for our celebration.

Thank you to our wonderful parents. Everyone is so proud of the First Communion Class. They are a credit to their families and Clontuskert Parish.

Kiltormer GAA Club is 50 years in existence this year. Congratulations to all in the club and a sincere ‘Thank You’ for your help and support of Clontuskert School.
