St. Augustine’s National School held a Christmas Carol Service in St. Augustine’s Parish Church, Clontuskert on Wednesday 19th of December 2012 at 7pm. All were welcome and admission was free.

The beautiful Nativity scene above, is part of one of the stained glass windows in our Parish Church. Thanks to our friend, Joe Molloy, who took this photo.

On Wednesday night we did a Choir Service. It took a long time to learn our songs. We sang ten songs; the Wexford carol, Silent night in four Languages, The first Noel, Ding dong Merrily on High, Feliz Navidad, Jingle bells, Away in a Manger, White Christmas, Winter Song and Mary’s Boy Child and for the wexford carol we did a nativity scene. Miss.Scott and Miss.Vonhof were playing the instruments; guitar, piano and violin. At the very end Mcoy and Cuddles gave Flowers to Miss.Scott and Miss.Vonhof. We loved it.
