A second wonderful night was had by all the Galmont Hotel in Galway. Last night three winners from the school represented Clontuskert so well at the Write a Book Awards.
Tonight it was the turn of 1st and 2nd classes to exhibit their work on the theme of Aqua Adventure for FLL Junior.
Each group spoke so well to visitors to the stand about their models, showed how they worked and the parts they used to build each model. When Paul Sleem (aka Mr. Fish) came to visit our stand two students spoke about their work on camera and the research they did this year on Aqua Adventure. Everyone could see and hear them on the big screen in the ballroom. They were super and everyone was very proud of them.
Thanks to Ms. Scott for preparing the class so well and to Ms. Gorba, Mary and Ms. Colohan who all helped the students prepare today.
Thanks also to the parents who drove and supported their children this evening. It was wonderful to see such a lovely turn out, with over 260 children in total at the event.
