My Christmas eve poem

Christmas is nearly here
Bringing loads of festive cheer
The streets are shining bright
All through the cold winter night

The lovely sound of bells jingling
My fingers and toes are tingling
My mum makes a lovely Christmas pie
Fine,fine that’s a bit of a lie

I cannot sleep
Dad says to count sheep
My Christmas stocking filled to the gills
And all the ice at my window sills

Where is Santa
Maybe he is drinking my fanta
I will look forward him coming next year
I might even shed a tear
