School Tour: Lough Key Forest Park

Timetable for the day:

8.15am: Bus leaves school- Students to be in school for 8.00am

10.30-11.30:
Arrival Lough Key Forest Park
Adventure Playground:
The outdoor Adventure Play Kingdom is an enclosed and stimulating play area with towers, slides, climbing frames, roundabouts, swings, puzzles and other innovative play equipment suitable for a variety of ages and abilities.

11.30-12.30:
Lough Key Experience with Guided Tour:
Exploring the history, flora and fauna through the 19th century underground tunnels, to the top of the refurbished 5-storey Moylurg viewing tower and along a contemporary Tree Canopy Walk, the first of its kind in Ireland.

12.30-13.30:
Lunch: Hot lunch at Lough Key

13.30-15.30:
Boda Bord: Boda Borg Team based challenge

18.00:
Arrival back in Clontuskert
A text will be sent if there is any change to arrival time

Students will need:
• Light rainjacket
• School Tracksuit, T-shirt and jumper
• Runners
• 2 big packed lunches with bottled drinks
Spending money will not be needed

We’ll look out for Chris O’ Dowd while we are passing through Boyle! Eamon our bus driver is a Boyle native and will be giving us a tour of the town!
