What a beautiful day as we head from Clontuskert this morning to the Eircom Junior Spiders Awards that are being held at Google HQ in Dublin!
Congratulations to 5th and 6th class in Clontuskert! Their school newspaper; The Clontuskert Tribune has been shortlisted for the Eircom Junior Spiders Award for 2014. This is the fourth year in a row that the school has been shortlisted for an award!

What an amazing achievement! Last year the school won Best Project for their work on Ringforts in Clontuskert.

Clontuskert Tribune Staff 2013-2014
Mr. O’ Riordan’s 5th and 6th class began writing a monthly newspaper with all the news from the school and classes in 2009. Clontuskert Tribune has been a huge success.
Parents, students and teachers alike love to receive the monthly instalment of the Clontuskert Tribune.
Since 2011 5th and 6th class have continued the Tribune with Mrs. Murray.
This newspaper is researched, written and edited by the students themselves.
